The AM3013T is an upgrade from the AM3013 through an innovative photo trigger mechanism on the end of the housing. This Microtouch feature negates the need to use your mouse when capturing images. Simply click the button with your finger. In our opinion another key feature is the excellent color resolution which is unparalleled at this price point. It is better than more expensive digital microscopes and is achieved by use of a sophisticated jeweler's color balance.We are impressed! The upgraded DinoCapture 2.0 v1.2.9.x software allows for user-friendly photography including stills, video and even time-lapse. It can now import or export frames, save and reload notations and switch default output between BMP and JPG for greater flexibility and ease of use. The measuring software features automatic edge detection, center-to-center circular and point-to-line measurements for increased accuracy and precision. Simply tap the space bar on your keyboard or, on the T models, take advantage of the innovative trigger mechanism on the end of the Dino-Lite. Both linear and geometric measurements can be captured quickly and easily.
