The single difference between the AM3011 and the AM3011T is an innovative photo trigger mechanism on the end of the AM3011T. This Microtouch feature negates the need to use your mouse when capturing images. Simply click the button with your finger. On first glance you might think of this microscope as more of a gadget than an effective, handheld, digital microscope. But don't be fooled by its innovative design.

This is a professional, handheld, portable microscope that is widely used in industry for inspection applications while also proving popular with hobbyists such as coin collectors, stamp collectors and botanists. In our opinion a key feature is the excellent color resolution which is unparalleled at this price point. It is better than most, more expensive digital microscopes and is achieved by use of a sophisticated jeweler's color balance.We are impressed!

In addition, the Dino-Lite provides live imaging, USB 2.0 output interface and the upgraded DinoCapture 2.0 v1.2.9.x software allows for user-friendly photography including stills, video and even time-lapse. It can now import or export frames, save and reload notations and switch default output between BMP and JPG for greater flexibility and ease of use.
