Review & Description
The Dino-Lite AM413ZTS is exactly like the AM413ZT (with measuring feature) and also includes a working distance enhancement allowing up to 200x magnification without touching the object being observed. This is especially useful in applications involving delicate electronics and solid-state circuitry. Polarized light microscopy is useful when detailed information about a subject's composition is crucial, making this digital microscope ideal for rock and mineral identification as well as medical diagnostic applications and materials inspection (plastics, LCD screens, etc.) The polarization level can be changed from full to half, and if no polarization is necessary simply switch off the feature altogether. The microscope is designed to minimize glare and white spots from reflective surfaces like ceramic, rock and some jewelry. It is also easy to use. Simply hook it up to your computer via the USB 2.0 connection, load the included (and intuitive), Dino Capture software and enjoy the live image. The upgraded DinoCapture 2.0 v1.2.9.x software allows for user-friendly photography including stills, video and even time-lapse. It can now import or export frames, save and reload notations and switch default output between BMP and JPG for greater flexibility and ease of use.
